Lil'Leroy

Lil' Leroy arrived at the shelter in November 2008 in the arms of a young couple that found him alone, cold and exhausted in a desolate rural area just east of Kenora, the day before. Shelter staff immediately wrapped the small, golden puppy in a towel, knowing what the unsuspecting couple didn't, that he was probably covered in lice. Indeed he was, every square inch of him.

Two delousings and 10 days later he went home with a family who brought him back the following week after a change of heart. If the saying is really true that things always happen for a reason than Leroy was meant to be with the second family who adopted him recently brought him to Pet Pictures with Santa.
It was plain to see that he is  happy, healthy and well taken care of. We are told that he loves to go running with his owner and as depicted in the picture below, is full of mischief and always ready for a game, often of his own making.
